Who we are

The NGO MFAUME MMESWA HELPING SERVICES is a Non-Profit Association under Congolese law whose headquarters are based in Australia, with two liaison offices in Baraka in the territory of Fizi and in Kinshasa. The objective pursued by the Association is to facilitate the Congolese to easily obtain passports, and to anyone wishing to enter the DRC or go to other countries to obtain Visas without difficulty.

Purpose

The Association remains and is based on the principles of solidarity and free association. It intends to assist, facilitate and enlighten all persons in the process of obtaining the Congolese passport (Congolese citizens living in the country or abroad), but also to obtain the visa to enter the Democratic Republic of Congo in accordance with the laws of the Republic for any person wishing to do so.

Assistance for an applicant to obtain their Visa or passport is provided at both national and international levels.

To this end, it includes:

  • Creating a database of laws and procedures relating to passport and visa applications;
  • Informing passport and/or visa applicants on the paths to follow in order to avoid being scammed;
  • Serving as a reference center for requests for facilities and information relating to passport or visa procedures;
  • Popularize the laws relating to migration in the DRC;
  • Contribute and encourage foreigners to come and invest in the DRC or to make tourist visits there;
  • Facilitate and guide the populations living in the deep Congo on how to obtain a passport or a visa without making a lot of trips and running the risk of scams;
  • Positively sell the image of the DRC everywhere else.

Do you need a scholarship?

If you are a student or entering your first year of higher education, you may be eligible for scholarships and aid depending on your situation. If you are experiencing financial difficulties in starting and continuing your studies, you may also be eligible for specific aid. Aid for mobility, professional integration and access to the civil service may also be awarded to you.
